It's all the rage, if you don't have one you're not cool. That's all there is to it.
There is a certain guy at work that is the dealer of Snap Capps, we'll call him B-man. B-man has been supplying LMI employees with Snap Capps for some time now. I have to admit that I was a little wary at first. First of all I don't really drink a lot of soda, so I didn't think there was much of a use for one. Then I realized that was a stupid excuse. It does not matter if you think you don't need one, you just do. You have not lived until you own a Snap Capp. They are all over in W/C 40. Mine is purple, Linda's is red. Josh has a cool green antifreeze color, and Jack has an orange one to match his Rockstar. This is just a sample of the many. Most people keep them under lock and key. So get out and find yourself one! Although if you don't know the B-man, you're out of luck (or if you know GI Joe's you'll be alright.) Because really... (and you could be really happy like this guy!)
Warning!: Be sure to open the can before you snap on the capp! It will make your life a whole lot easier! (I speak from experience.)
P.S. Happy Spontaneous Random Day!!

... to a year of blogging!
Congrats to me!! I have officially had my blog for a year! My first blog was A Night With the Pirates. Pretty good one too.
So what am I going to do to celebrate? I'm starting a second blog!!! Just cant get enough blogging in on one blog. :) I had kind of been thinking of starting a new one just for science stuff for awhile and I thought this was a good occasion.
I wanted to have a blog devoted to science stuff since I am hoping to be a science teacher. There are just too many ideas and cool facts rolling around in my head, I had to have an outlet somewhere! And why not share the info with the world? Hence began Ms Murray's Science Blog. This will be a fun way to have students check things out, do experiments at home, even ask questions. I am really excited to develop this blog and see where it goes! Wahoo!
Be sure to check it out!!

... to celebrating my birthday!
Yep that's right. It was my 24th birthday yesterday. I am so old I know. Well I did not really do anything exciting for my birthday. I went to work where they had a cake for me and the two other people that had February birthdays. (Thanks guys!) I met my family later and went out to dinner. At home I opened some presents and then had dessert. Which happened to be one of my favorites... banana cream pie!!! Wahoo!! The best thing about the whole night was the bag that one of my gifts came in. Yeah. I couldn't tell if what was in the bag was really better than sex but I liked the gift. My sister got this bag from her host family in Costa Rica. We decided that they couldn't read English. Sure is funny!
P.S. Want to see what I look like on Sunday mornings? Find out here!
P.S.S. Thanks for the sweet note MaryBeth!

...to Saturn!!
There is a whole slew of things I want to cover. (Actually, not really. I just wanted to use the word slew.) First of all it is my grandma's birthday today. I think she is 88, I'm not sure though. We had a little pizza party over at her house and my mom made a yummy butterscotch cake. Happy Birthday Gma!!

... to sorting boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes (whew) of food.
So last Saturday Crimson Bridge agreed to help the Auburn Food Bank out by sorting some food. Well, they just finished the school food drive so there were boxes and boxes and boxes and more boxes. And not just any wimpo box I'm talking bigger-than-me kind of box. There were 20 of these bigger-than-me boxes so yeah, I think you kind of get the idea of how much food needed to be sorted. Our plan of attack: Diggers dig food out of the bigger-than-me boxes and give to Runner. Runner runs food to specified table to Sorter. Sorter organizes food further and stacks boxes on pallets. That was pretty much it. My cousin Carlia and me captained the canned veggies table. Don't think this was some easy job. Let me tell you how we broke it down. Canned corn, carrots, beets, potatoes, and any other random veggie went together. Well cream corn is a different thing so it gets its own box. Green beans get their own box too. Refried beans of any kind also get their own box. Tomato items have to all be separate. We did not except any glass jars (at least not at our table.) And then we had a box for chili, wow there was a lot of chili. It was a good time. There was about 50 of us and it took us three hours to sort 20 bigger-than-me boxes. Pretty good, way to go team!
After everything was cleaned up the boys wanted to practice their parkour skills and run along the wall over the pile of flattened bigger-than-me boxes. That's my cousin Adam scaling the wall. Wow!

... to Game Night!
Every other Friday my dad hosts a game night at our church. It's just a fun way to hang out with people. My dad likes to have different themes each week, whether its exploring different kinds of games, learning how many different categories of games there are to just focusing on one kind of game; like last night, we focused on action games.
Playing Battledome with their game faces on.
Stephanie is pulling ahead in Qwitch.
Eric contemplates his next move in Dragon Delta. (Or Drachen Delta in German, I bought this game for my dad when I was in Germany seven years ago.)
Gullotine is a fun game based on the French Revolution, so naturally it involves chopping heads off.
Part of my hand for 10 Days in Asia. I have only been defeated once before and unfortunately I was defeated again this game.
Ah, Ticket to Ride, my redemption. I finally won a game, out of all those games I finally won one. Yeah me!
Thanks for hosting the game night and letting me win daddy!
