Back to the days of Cream of Wheat and Wonder Bread. When a woman was serene in her kitchen. My friend Amy and I wanted to visit the good ole days with our retro style aprons. We actually made them ourselves like three years ago. The patterns that we used had these old classic 1950 pictures of women in the kitchen. So we tried to reenact the photos with the help of our aprons. That yellowish glow in my bowl is butter, not gold.
"Are you taking a picture of me and my wonderful cookies?"

Ah, the the joy of enjoying your own cooking.
We are planning to have another 1950's kitchen reenactment after Christmas. We have to collect a few more props; jeans and sweatshirts don't quite work for a woman in the 1950's.

oh meggie poo! you are sooo cute! Two memories popped in my head when I saw this...when we made all those donuts! and when me and kimbo came to your house and I wore that super awesome apron..I love and miss you so much!
